My approach to therapy is grounded, collaborative and tailored to you.
I believe therapy should feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions, while also helping you build resilience, clarity and confidence in everyday life.
Whether we work in a traditional setting or outdoors on the water, our sessions are shaped around what feels most supportive for you.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. I work with you to understand what is happening, what you need, and what pace feels right.
Sessions are built around safety, choice and collaboration. We may explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, patterns in the body, or practical ways to support change outside of therapy.
The Anchor & Flow Method brings together regulation, reflection and integration. It is designed to help you feel steadier, more connected to yourself, and better able to move through life’s challenges.
Before change can happen, the nervous system needs steadiness. This stage focuses on grounding, emotional safety, body awareness and building trust in the therapeutic process.
As safety develops, we begin to explore patterns, emotions and new possibilities. This may involve conversation, reflection, movement, mindfulness or practical tools.
Insights from therapy are gradually integrated into everyday life. The aim is greater resilience, clarity and a stronger sense of self-trust.
Sessions begin with a check-in where we explore how you are feeling and what feels important that day.
Together, we may look at stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, confidence, relationships, burnout or life transitions. Some sessions may feel reflective and spacious, while others may be more focused on practical strategies and tools.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. We work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
Some people find that being outdoors makes therapy feel more natural and less intense than sitting face-to-face in a room.
For paddle board sessions, we spend time making sure you feel comfortable before heading onto the water. No previous paddle boarding experience is needed.
Sessions may include conversation, mindfulness, gentle movement, reflection, or simply creating space to slow down and reconnect.
The focus is not on being good at paddle boarding. The focus is on creating a safe therapeutic experience that meets you where you are.
